Stump Shark's humble beginnings started 2013 with a small 25 horse power grinder, an old pickup truck, and a desire to provide a quality alternative to the current stump grinding options available. 

I have a background in the tree service and am an active career firefighter in Connecticut. While in college I worked a construction job so I was no stranger to machinery and hard work. 

Since 2013 Stump Shark has grown in ways I could not imagine at the time. Starting with that small machine then upgrading to a larger diesel rig and currently using a massive 85 horsepower remote controlled grinder has allowed me to grow exponentially and service many more customers. 

And honestly that has been the best part, you the customer. I love chatting with my customers and clients and learning how to serve them better. Word of mouth from the people I've served has been the biggest driving factor of growth for my business. I am hoping to add you to that list!
